I Made Concrete collums way back in the 70’s . Used a ‘synthetic’ concrete pipe ( a bit lighter) about 3 feet tall with a 12″ concentric cone speaker. A cross bar at the top held a right angle deflector cone ( concrete cast in a a petrol funnel with a bolt in the bottom) This was attached to the crossbar above the speaker to reflect the high frequencies through a slot cut in a cylindrical plywood cover.
The pipe was raised on blocks and a pillow stuffed loosely up the pipe . ( to dampen the thunderous bass. Driven from a (now vintage!) Quad 100 power amp. Suck that up (LOL!!)
